What are some signs that a person has a problem with prescription drugs?

Answered By Editor

Prescription drug abuse is usually more difficult to detect than for someone taking taking heroin or amphetamines. A person taking a prescribed medication in the form of pills can more easily hide his or her use. A person with a prescription drug abuse problem may behave differently, change aspects of his personality or have mood swings. He may be preoccupied with getting to the pharmacy or drug store. He may carelessly leave medical prescriptions lying around and will usually go through outrageous numbers of pills in short periods of time.
