Defining, instead of proving? Where is the choice supposed to be in the equation of addiction? Isn’t the disease a cop out?

Addiction Feedback: Yeah, in some ways…it seems to be a disease but a self-enduced disease. Once hooked, there is sometimes little that can be done. It makes it hard to feel sorry or want to help too much someone who brought something on them self. I would like to see a model that allowed for responsibilty and gave way for help.
